in honor of the last full month of summer (sad, i know) the food section in the wapo ran a little article about the history of ice cream sandwiches. nothing like a strong craving for ice cream at 8:30 in the morning on a hot summer day. and with lots of fun recipes in the article i might just have to try some out!
