yesterday my sister's roommate ashley fell off of her horse. she was airlifted to the uva hospital and it the doctors are 99.9% sure that she is permanently paralyzed from the waste down and will never walk again. this being less than two months before graduation. although look what happened with kevin everett this fall - you never can say never.
my thoughts go out to her and her family and friends.
