i could name at least 42 reasons why i love the summer. but, i won't. instead i'll just tell you one of my favorites - outdoor concerts! true, wolftrap is the absolute best place to see a concert, but you have to pay to get tickets. so for those of you on a strict budget this summer i've compiled a list of some of the free concerts in the area this summer.

arts in the parks - fairfax county.
fairfax county is once again hosting free concerts in a lot of their parks. they have a nice website set up so you can easily search for the concerts. there are concerts at lake accotink park in springfield, royal lake park in fairfax, ossian hall park in annandale, lee district park in springfield, kingstowne town center in alexandria, nottoway park in vienna and mason district park in fairfax.

true, these aren't concerts. but, movies are almost as cool. right?
