sunshine!

with the crappy weather for the past few days i had almost forgotten how nice it is to wake up to sunshine. and this morning, since i have a skylight in my bathroom(!), i didn't even have to turn on any lights. and i just took a look at the 10-day forecast and (after we get through tomorrow)it's looking good. it should be near 70 this weekend - and the week leading up to foxfield is looking good as well. but, i don't want to jinx anything. if there's anything i've learned from living in the dc area my whole life it's that you should never trust the weather forecast.

and here's just one of the many feel good stories in the post this morning. that ryan zimmerman is really a classy guy.
