i'm still in shock over what happened yesterday down in blacksburg. and i'm sure that reading every last word about it in the wapo (in every section!) this morning didn't help. and even though i don't personally know anyone down there who was injured/killed i do know that there were 32 people killled and countless more injured. and the reports coming out now are saying the shooter was from fairfax county and many of the casualties were as well. this is a story that won't (and shouldn't) go away anytime soon.
if you, like me, need some cheering up this afternoon just head over to ben & jerry's to get some free ice cream. and if you're not near any ben & jerry's shops then you can go online and create your own flavor. because let's be honest - ice cream makes everyone feel better.
