with temperatures expected to be hovering near the century mark all week a slurpee might be just the perfect relief from the heat. and lucky for you 7-eleven is celebrating its 80th birthday on wednesday (7/11) by giving out free slurpees all day. true, the free cups are teeny-tiny (7.11 oz) - but that just gives you an excuse to hit up lots of different stores throughout the day. tragically there are only three of them in the city, but there are at least three of them within two miles of my house.
