you make me wanna lala

i'm pretty sure i got the tip for lala.com from the gogs. but, really whoever turned me onto this site - thank you! and i guarantee that once you give it a try you'll love it too.

it's so easy. just go to the site and register for a free account. then once you're registered go over to the my music tab to get started. once you download the lala player (again, it's free) you can upload all of your music and have access to it anywhere on any computer. once your music is uploaded (it takes a while - well at least it took a while for my 5,500 songs) you can create playlists and even upload your music to ipods. and naturally you should register for lala on your home computer so you can upload all of your music and then you can listen to your library at work (like i'm doing right n0w).

and that's not even why lala was originally created. it's really a music swapping forum. the idea is that you can list the cds you have (and are willing to part with) and then also make a list of the cds you'd like to get. then you can trade with others in the lala network. that's next on my (forever growing) to-do list.

lala is pretty sweet. i haven't used the whole upload your music feature yet but i joined lala way back in like january just for the aspect of trading CDs. i've traded about 50 CDs through it. it's a great way to unload music you don't want anymore and to try new stuff.
