hooray for may!

it's really a good thing it's may and the weather's nice because there's not a whole lot to be happy about right now:
- the wiz got swept by the cavs and are out of the playoffs.
- eastern market and the historic georgetown libary burned down yesterday.
- the nats are just plain awful.
- uva lacrosse lost to duke in the acc final. at least there's always the tourney.

but i'll try to be optimistic:
- 31 cent cone night is tomorrow at baskin robbins.
- zara is opening right next to my office.
- the ten day forecast looks great.

and honestly, how could this not make you smile?
