mondays are always the hardest. this morning i got ready, made my lunch, put on my flip flops and headed out the door. i got about halfway to the metro when i realized that i wasn't wearing my flip flops. i had grabbed my roommate's shoes by accident. luckily her foot is only one size smaller than mine (which is why i must not have immediately realized i had put on the wrong shoes). honestly, i'm just glad that i didn't put on the mysterious adidas sandals by accident. that would just be a complete tragedy.
and now i figure my week can only get better. the weather forecast looks great! i'm just hoping the thunderstorms on thursday are very isolated. i wouldn't want the weather to come between me and the work happy hour down at the waterfront.
