hurricane season has begun!

true hurricane season is june 1 - november 30. however, this year mother nature has decided to get started a bit early. the first named storm in the atlantic has formed. and although andrea doesn't seem to be much of a threat to us, she/it is still one of the few named storms that has formed in the month of may.

and just in case you were wondering (come on, you know you were), here are the names for the 2007 season:

i'm really hoping we get down to the "o" name this year. how great would that be?? even though olga (our ex-neighbor - aka mrs. moosh) turned out to be decent in the end - i'll always remember her as the crazy, unfriendly dog lady.

and in the off chance that we get a hurricane (or remnants of one) up here in virginia you can be sure we'll be having a hurricane party. and with any luck we'll get to write a new rap. it's been a while since "fallback" was conceived back during isabel.
