first off - i forgot we took a picture of the donuts at brunch on sunday. so now you can see how delicious they look:
also - they handed out free baseball cards at the nats game yesterday. and in honor of mother's day there were pictures of the players w/ their mothers. it was so sweet. clearly, zimmerman's card was the cutest - he's wearing a hat with his name on it and homemade suspenders. he was definitely number one when i arranged the cards in order of cuteness!
speaking of zim - he was not so hott on sunday. but, i guess i can forgive him since a mere 12 hours before he hit a walk-off grand slam in the bottom of the 9th (at 1:42 in the morning!). wahoowa!
i saw the clarks at the birchmere on saturday night. it was a bandstand show. and even though i've been to the birchmere countless times, i've never seen a show in the bandstand. despite feeling like i was in a disney world cafeteria, the show was great! honestly, any place w/ starr hill on tap is fine by me.
my dad and i discovered that nielsen's in vienna sells cookie sandwiches made w/ their delicious custard. i'd have to say potbelly's are probably better - but these are a very close second. clearly this has become my new obsession - any ideas where else they sell cookie sandwiches (i will no longer abbreviate this word in fear of embarrassing myself again).
rip uva lacrosse. they bowed out of the tourney way early. they didn't even have a shot of repeating as national champions. at least the terps lost too. but seeing as they were a #7 seed their loss didn't come as much of a shock.
ooooooh and we got a foosball table this weekend. our basement is well on the way to becoming a full fledged game room! too bad i'm worse at foosball than i am at ping pong (i honestly don't know how that's even possible).

whoa! the clarks were here this weekend?! they rock! we used to go seem them at station square once a summer. they are insanely popular in pittsburgh yet have never caught on nationally.
i was thinking of writing out the abbrev, but then thought better of it :)
i was also thinking we should charge people to use our game room...thoughts?
what is that amazing looking thing in the middle of all those other things? mmm!
clearly the middle bowl is filled with homemade whipped cream to dip the donuts in! mmmmmm:)
and we could charge people by making them bring alcohol. oh wait - we already have too much of that. maybe people could bring us ice cream? mmm ice cream!
